Helping you to improve health equity and the social determinants of health in Cheshire and Merseyside

Scroll down

Our mission is to work as one to build a fairer, healthier Cheshire and Merseyside, informed by the country’s leading voice on health equity, Professor Sir Michael Marmot. Our landmark 2022 ‘All Together Fairer’ report from the Institute of Health Equity sets out a range of measurable actions for the subregion which we are committed to realising.

Our health is largely shaped by the world around us – where we live, our education, our jobs, and so much more. These are sometimes called the ‘social determinants of health’.

By understanding and sharing insights into how these social inequalities are impacting health across Cheshire and Merseyside, we can work together to reduce them and create a fairer society.

This website is your source of inspiration and information for getting involved and making a difference!
